Bahnhof Café

Bahnhof Café is situated in the Swedish ski resort Åre, in the village’s old railway station. After serving as a café for almost a decade the business was transformed into a restaurant with extended opening hours. This transformation made it necessary to an updated interior design. The design concept was built upon the wish of creating an varm and down to earth atmosphere – with a cup of railway romance. This concept was executed by addition of fabrics, bespoke benches, carpets and jugend lamps to mention some. (2018)
